3.5 VAC input step up transformer

We need to convert 3.5 VAC to DC. But if I use rectifier there may be a huge loss.. So i need to boost up the 3.5 VAC. Is there any step up transformer available to step up the 3.5 VAC input?? If it is available pls tell the link...
