12v 200mA, DC regulated power supply for CCTV camera

Dear sir, i want to develop a 12v 200mA regulated power supply for a single CC TV camera, anyone can help me with circuit diagram.. Thank you.

This one shows a 230v transformer, but you can replace with a 120v transformer if you wish.

Steve sir, Can i use 12v output from SMPS power supply for my single CCTV camera,i have un used satellite receiver SMPS power supply,it has 12v,5v,3.3v and 24V outputs.. and also tell how to limit current from output...

Different Steve, here, but I'll chime in...

Your SMPS should work as long as the output is not too noisy and it can supply the 200ma (quite likely for an SMPS). Why the need for current limit?

A current rating on a power supply is what it can provide, if the load calls for it. There are very few instances where you need to actually limit the current (battery charging, LED's, etc). Explain why you need to limit the current. A simple resistor will accomplish this if absolutely necessary.

eBay, $15 - 20 dollars, tear it apart. Most are SMPS. Your problem is going to be designing and getting the isolated transformer/inductor.

Most people have little or no experience in this area. Even if you did, you have to have one or several made up and that's an issue trying to get them made. Only other real option is to get demo boards from the SMPS chip designers like as mentioned Power Intergrations, TI, National, Intersil, Linear Tech, etc.

Altest if you buy one off of eBay it comes with the transformer/inductor an it works.
