Dear sir,

Please advise me about the selection of motor starter ....which one has more % if we make a comparison in between them...

Motor A definately has more %.

You ask to compare apples and pears.
VFD is mainly used to control motor speed. Like for a multi speed mixing of a product or ventilation.
A soft starter is used to control the starting current and speed and after a adjusted time it is bypassed by a contactor in order for the motor to run on full speed.
As a example on a vessels bow thruster a 1000KW and a generator of 1400KW you can not start the motor directly so you use a soft starter.

My dear i hear that we can also use VFD for motor starter please guide me advantages and disadvantages of VFD and soft starter???

yes if you setup a vfd for a ramping up time 0-100% lets say 30sec you can do that if and when it has that function.
In general a softstart is used for short working time and a vfd for 100% working time bud a vfd needs external control.
