I am trying to use a BJT as a switch so I can control a valve with a raspberry pi.
The Rpi sends a 3v on trigger and a .4 off trigger. And I am using a TIP120 transitor.
I have the load connected through a 12VDC 1am supply and the collector. I have the emitter connected to ground. I also have the RPi connected to the base with a 2.2k ohm resistor between them.
For some reason I am getting no current through the load.
