Hi every body!
I have an ultrasonic transmitter circuit. It has several part that some are unknown for me in case of functionality.I have attached the circuit and output signal. in the output figure the upper signal is with zoom and the down part is for overall output from oscilloscope.
1- It has 555 timer which generating proper pulse time with varying resistors.
2- at the bottom of the circuit, there is a crystal which is 40 khz and produce signal.
these 2 parts are clear.
But the problem is out put of timer and crystal. Timer's output from pin 3 going to an inverter and then to a NAND gate; and output of crystal passing an inverter in parallel and then goes to another inverter and then to NAND gate as can be seen in figure.
I want to know: 1- The functionality of these 2 NAND with different shapes in series?
2- what is the job of inverters in SERIES and in PARALLEL as well?
3-From the output what is that sin wave?
