Hello.
I am designing a small 3D camera with 4k 60fps capability. To make a realistic design I need to know what goes into a video camera.
* Lenses
* Imaging chips (CCD vs CMOS?)
* One or two processors
* A power source e.g. a battery (battery vs capacitor)
* Memory chip or chips (Micro SDXC cards)
* Microphones
* Video out connector (HDMI vs USB. Must be able to transfer data in real time)
* Power connector/charger connector
* WiFi chip?
* Flex PCB for compact design
I have looked at a few tear downs, but I am not an engineer, so any help would be most welcome. I see some 3D cameras basically are two separate cameras that have been synchronized. I guess this is the route I will choose because processing power is too low to handle the data from both imaging sensors in current small chips. (Or is it?)
