Hi

I want to find out more about the function of cycling odometer. How can I increase the sender/receiver distance? How can I find out which signal is transmitted?

To increase the distance one or more of three things can be done:
1. Increase transmitter RF power
2. Improve transmitter antenna
3. Improve receiver antenna

Although these devices (I think) operate at either 432 or 915 MHz their antennas are electrically short and inefficient and could be greatly improved.
