I have a 30 V DC input but I have to run a circuit using 5 V supply.
So, for converting 30 V DC to 5 V I'm using 7805 voltage regulator. But when I connect the output of 7805 (i.e. 5 V) to the circuit which needs 5 V, the 5 V reduces to 2 V and the circuit doesn't run. Please help. What can be the possible issues why it wont work.
