Appreciate Career Advice – Training/Entry level jobs in Electrical engineering

Friends,

I have done Masters in Electrical specialization being Power Systems on 2004. Had worked as a lecturer back home in engineering schools for few years and been a home-maker since then. Am 33 now and new to the American Job market.
We have moved to Dallas and am planning to get back to work and thinking of electrical engineering jobs.
I would like to enroll in a training course related to electrical engineering and start to search for entry level jobs.

Can someone advice me on training courses available on electrical engineering that would help me land any entry level job in electrical engineering?

Safety Engineering would be a good choice. I found on the web AVO Training Institute they offer course in Electrical Fundamentals, Electrical Safety Training, Electrical Maintenance Training, Certification Programs, Custom Training Solutions and they have a branch on Dallas.

I think it would also be good if you have programming skills. Even entry level jobs must need to or at least know some basic programming or any machine language skills.
