Hi All,I am new to this forum. I am a registered civil engineer, and I would like to take some courses to learn electrical power distribution for my smaller projects with relatively simple electrical needs. Looking for advice on the courses I should start with that are practical for my needs. I have a basic understanding from an introductory electrical engineering course, but I would like to understand how to size and design for the various types of electrical service (i.e. 3phase, 4wire, 2 wire loop, etc.). I would also need to prepare basic site plans and wiring diagrams for easier projects. For larger projects, I would hire a consultant.
I have researched the different electrical courses, but I am hoping for advice on the most practical courses (and least amount) I can take in the most logical sequencing. For example, small electronics would not be practical for me to take for the work I am doing.
Thank you for your suggestions.
