Hello, You also can use a microcontrollerless type of robot of using L293D IC; that is; a RF 5 buttons remote control; to go FORWARD,BACKWARD,LEFT, RIGHT and a special work like as;activate a Pliers or clamps to take an object. I designed it by myself before and works nicely.
