Dear All,

i'm truly confused about finding the lead currently trendy topic for my thesis, i'm doing a MS in Electrical Engineering and i'm about to start preparing for thesis. The problem that i don't know exactly where to start i want something new and interesting i'm focusing on smart grid but i'd like to make a combination from renewable energy, power electronics and high voltage in one thesis. any help ?! or suggestions.

I know this reply is gonna sound cliche, but I find that studying something you are invested in and something that impacts you personally will give better results. Specially with a project that you would like to pursue outside the scope of being a requirement in university.
