Best way to configure 100’s of 1206 SMD LEDs of different color

Hey there,

I'm fooling around with PCBs and SMD LEDs right now. I don't have a background in EE but have dinked and dunked my way around thus far. I am planning on connecting 100's of SMD LEDs on a PCB board. From the specs, it seems like each color has a different operating Vmax, so I'm not sure just using resistors would work.

Are there LED drivers out there than can take a Vin and Vout many different regulated V and Amps?

I think you need a voltage translating IC like

and other related device like level shifter logic IC.

Or you could just use pixels. These run from either 5V or 12V and have a serial connection that daisy chain from pixel to the next. Most are 5050 in size.
