Electrical Engineering Project

I'm doing a final year project on Three-phase Smart Power Meters for Solar panels and Telemetry. The information I have received so far from my supervisor is that, I have to build a circuit with current and voltage sensors that will measure power. However, I have no idea how to begin and where to begin my research. How do I start?

You need to build the concept and design first.

There are energy meter and other metering designs provided there, which you can use it as a reference.

Thanks for the information. My supervisor has given me more details on what I should do.
Basically, I am expected to build a circuit for a DC Power Meter. I have to identify the current and voltage sensors and use a microprocessor (mbed LPC1768) which will display the results for power.

The thing is you know what you want to do. Most of the folks they even don't know what they want to do. Initially you need to build the concept and design first. Once you build the design, then things will go on as per the concept which was designed by you. I can understand you will face the startup problem, which usually face number of people.
