Need to Make Emp Pulse

hey guys im trying to make an emp gun for a robot an im thinking of boosting 220v to 4kv and then put it on a capasitor and then decharge it in an inductor any idea about what kind of inductance should i use?? should it be a big inductance or a small one ??
