I am looking for appropriate motors for direct drive series audio vinyl turntables!
We need high torque at low speeds, ultra low or no cogging motors, DC or AC with three or more phases. The platter weight will be from 7.5 to 12.5 kilos through ought the range. The goal is for the motor/platter combo to be able to reach from full stop the selected speeds (33.3/45/78 RPM) within 1 sec max.
Max motor space allowance is up to 16 in diameter and up to 13 in height.
There will be an external power supply/control box.
Outer rotor models are preferable.Axle diameter 10-16mm...so the center opening for axle/bushing/etc etc must be around 30mm.
