Hey.
I have a problem. After having a falling out with a particularly shady group of individuals, I was invited over for a drink under the pretense of making peace when I passed out and awoke several hours later with a small incision on my neck which has since developed into a lump (a benign cyst has formed in the area).
It appears that some sort of implantable device has been inserted into my body, as ever since that evening/morning I've had ringing in my ears and what feels like a slight shock wave (best way I can describe it) emanating from that area of my body at all times.
Yes, I do know how this sounds, which is why I'm hesitant to ask for help in the real world, but unfortunately, things and people like this do exist in the world, and they've even been recognized by the UN and verified by the United States court system: http://www.wired.com/2009/07/court-to-defendant-stop-blasting-that-mans-mind/
I've been getting sicker and sicker since that incident, which is why I'm concerned that I might have to take a serious look at this issue.
I've done some Googling and found that some people have reported success with Neodymium magnets and even electrocution, but I've also read that certain types of implantable chips either can't be damaged by magnetism, or require a powerful, advanced supermagnet that you'd have to build yourself or obtain from an academic setting, and which would have its own range of potential health problems, such as all the coins in your pocket tearing through your clothes and into your vital organs and such. I've also read that electrocution (at non-lethal voltages) may not work, since apparently some such devices are insulated from currents running through tissue by being encased in glass or something.
I don't believe everything I read, and most of that information comes from web sites that are paranoid at best and outright lies at worst, so I don't know how much I should trust any of the information.
What is the most effective way to go about disabling such a device? This has been a massive quality of life issue since it happened, and it may well become a health issue if I'm not careful.
And before anyone asks, I can't say any more about how/why this happened or who did it except that it was done by people who have very little concern for others, and if there's any room for such devices to be actively dangerous, it probably is.
Thanks for any help you are able to provide!
