It seems there is only single layer or double layer toroidal inductor available in the market.

Why don't the people make multiple layer (up to several tens of layers) toroidal inductor ?

In that case we can make full utilization of winding area and then substantially increase the inductance for small size toroidal core.

Hi.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it is because of the flux it will generate interfering with the adjacent components (hard to insulate I guess). Such inductors are usually placed as close as possible to other electronics.

If not, there are other bulkier inductors with higher values of inductance.
