60Hz Motor in 50Hz Supply Country

Dear All,

My country is supplying 415V 50Hz power.

Can I run a 60Hz Motor pump by using VFD ?

** 415V 50Hz Input to VFD ** & 60HZ  output from VFD to Motor pump....

Do I really need to care about 415/50 (8.3v/hz) and 460/60 (7.67v/hz) ?

In an article I found it say:

"According to the basics, when the frequency increases, the copper and steel consumptions of the generator and transformer decrease, along with the reduction of weight and cost, but will make the inductances of the electrical equipment and transmission line increase, reduce the capacitances and increase losses, thereby reduce the transmission efficiency. If the frequency is too low, the electrical machines' materials will increase, along with heavy and high cost, and will make lights flashing obviously. "

You can use the VFD to compensate for the required frequency.
