Hi there.
I have a reciver at 2405 mhz wich gives a 10.7 mhz IF signal but i want instead to produce a 45mhz IF, the mixer is a BJT with output impedance of 330 ohm (the impedance of the CF), so i tried to eliminate the CF and add a PI network to match 330ohm to 50 ohm then a coaxial to another board and then a BJT amplifier wich feeds the SAW filter on its colector, then another matching to 50 ohm but it works so bad, the circuit i used is like the one in the picture except that the second output pin of the SAW filter is grounded, what can you suggest me? where is the mistake in the matching of the PI network or is it in the matching of the 2 SAW filter ouputs?
