Best and Most Popular PCB Design Software for AC-DC Converter Circuits (2024)

Hi Engineers 

I used to use workbench Program to design simple Parallel and Series circuits during collages days. 

Now I want to build a new production line in the factory where I work in.
In this production line I want to manufacture some simple light drivers ( Converter from AC 220v to DC 6-8-12-15-20v ) on PCBs

So I got this Question : what is the best and simple Program for design PCB ? 

what is the most Facmous Prgoram for designing PCBs ?

This is a question for which there is no direct answer.
The most famous could be based on sales or download volume, but it doesn't make it the best or simplest, depending on your criteria.
I use a package that suits me, I am familiar with its idiosyncrasies (if you are told that a package doesn't have any, rubbish!), and I now have a huge investment in libraries and board layouts, so won't be changing in a hurry.
Everybody that replies will have a favourite, and possibly a list packages that they have tried and rejected, and they will all have valid reasons for their choice.
There is a lot of information on the web, and there are comparative reviews which may help a little.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_EDA_software lists a lot of the packages, from there you should be able to sort through and look at reviews and user comment.
http://www.pannam.com/blog/best-product-design-software-tools/ is worth looking at as well, and there are web page links there as well.
It will in the end depend on your budget, what capabilities you need (keeping in mind that you may do more complex PCBs in the future), user base, forum support, libraries, PC operating system, etc.
You are working with 220V AC, so design rule checking and the ability to set individual track clearances will be useful since creepage and clearance will be an issue. You can do it by eye, but if the layout package can do it for you, all the better.
With regard to cloud based options, avoid them if security is an issue, or if you don't have a fast and reliable internet connection.

I think Orcad is one of the best softwares for designing
Pcbs check in the net. There are other advanced softwares
like CADENCE. and ALLEGRA etc but are very complicated
to use go for ORCAD it is better.

There are many PCB design softwares available for free and paid. But here are some of my recommendations:

1. Diptrace
2. eSim
3. Eagle software
4. DesignSpark.

There are many programs.
As the developer of AutoTRAX I believe you may find it very different from what came in the past.

I’ve just changed the software license for AutoTRAX DEX. By default it is free with absolutely no limits except it must be used for non-commercial use. There are no time, board size, pin count, layer count limits. If you want to use it for commercial project then it costs only $49.
