Hello, I'm looking to get a large area 20 cm^2 extrinsic photoconductor to work,
Which type of wafer in terms of ohms-cm and micron thickness suits best for
a broad range of lower practicable switching voltage perhaps up to 3 KV voltages, not the 10 KV to 30 KV transmission line trigger type found in labs,
but rather a smooth gradation in decrease in resistance with respect to Near infra red to IR
wavelength iintensity? Or is only an avalanche switch possible with such wafers? What is the peak effective spectral wavelength for such a material
please? Large area sensor used here because of laser bounce off several galvo/mirrors diffusing thorough
air moisture. Thank you.
