How much power can be fed into the Anaren 74129 Double Balanced Mixer?

I have an Anaren 74129 Double Balanced Mixer http://www.richardsonrfpd.com/resources/RellDocuments/SYS_2/74129.pdf , but it makes me confused with the datasheet. I am not sure how much power should be inputted into the IF and LO port. Is there any guy can exlain it for me? Thanks a lot.

You mean the RF port, not IF.
I have seen data sheets like this before, minimal information. I suggest you contact the company for any further data, they should have graphs for RF drive and LO input up to a specified compression level.
They specify 4dBm for the RF, and 12dBm nominal for the LO port, as you indicated.
What capability have you in terms of instrumentation, for example, a spectrum analyser, covering your frequencies of interest, particularly the IF. If you have that capability, then you should be able to determine acceptable levels,

Thanks for your reply. I want to use this device for modulation. So the LO input should be 12.5 GHz signal and the IF input will be modulating signal at 2Gb/s. The modulated signal should be outputted from RF port.

So now, what I am not clear is that the input power for IF port and the output power range of the RF port.

OK, now I understand what you are doing.
You would need to check with the manufacturer, the data sheets are very poor. Knowing the internal configuration would possible help, it is likely to be a stripline based balanced diode mixer, if that is so, then the figures available should apply, given the symmetry of this type of mixer/modulator. The local oscillator port drive needs to be high to turn the diodes on and off,
