HND Electrical Engineering for Oil, Gas & Renewable Sector International Careers

Hi, I am looking for some information to help me decided on which path to further my career. Currently I am a qualified electrician 17th edition wiring regulations with 10 years experience in commercial, industrial and marine work. I am looking at studying a two year higher national diploma in electrical engineering which is the equivalent of the first two years of a bachelor degree. Would the hnd qualification be enough to get me into the industry? My goal is to work international in the oil and gas or renewable sector. Thanks 

Well, I don't know but have you check some of your prospected oil and gas sectors? Certainly, they have some qualifications stated on their career pages. Most industries like that need experience in the field aside from graduating a bachelors degree. How are your skills?
