Better look for references on hypnotic trance. Like this book by Newton Braga : https://books.google.com.ph/books?op=lookup&i...h/books?id=eedLEdxSN8sC&sitesec=reviews&hl=en

I know that there are levels/state of sleep. Maybe something like what the Flash did: http://www.hypable.com/the-flash-cisco-dreams-vibe/. Things like this is quite ambiguous especially if not discussed with experts.
