On their website, Plessey Semiconductor claims that they have developed EPIC sensors that can be used to detect an ECG signal from one's car seat.
The EPIC™ sensor electrodes can be easily and discretely incorporated inside the vehicle seatbacks to access the necessary biometric signals and provide earlier warning of drowsiness or health issues than systems based on eye or head movement.
I have tried to contact the company but I've never got any answer. Is there anyone on this forum who has ever used the sensors to comment on the sensor's effectiveness?
