Nitesh - electromechanical, though not my area, will involve three aspects:(1) Drive systems including motors but also actuators, levers, valves, solenoids etc that perform mechanical tasks(2) sensors that give information about the mechanical system, like switches, limit switches, temperature and pressure sensors, encoders to give information about position or rotation of components, eetc.(3) Control systems that get information from the sensors and activate the drive systems of the machine to do a task or tasks (eg filling bottles, shaping sheet metal, placing parts, cutting, etc, etc). You mechanical engineers know what you can do, the control systems engineer gets systems to drive the machines to do it.
