MEMS wafer pricing discounts at fabless foundries for piezoelectric energy harvesters

Hey there,
Could anyone share an approximation of discount levels per amount of wafers one can get for a standard *MEMS production at a fabless manufacturer? for example, 1 wafer = 0% discount, 100 wafers = 10% discount,  1000 wafers = 30% etc...
I already made a calculation of how many dies I can have per wafer and its cost. but it depends on the wafer cost.

I would think that your best approach would be to ask one or more of the manufacturers that you have in mind to work with. Since you've gotten to the point of calculating how many dies you can get on a wafer I suspect that your knowledge of this is already greater than most of us on this forum.

Hi Elizabeth and thanks for your comment,It's a good idea to start contacting manufacturers, I just assumed they won't answer directly and so easily, and maybe they will need a lot of information that I don't have or can provide at the moment and all of that will take a lot of time (I still don't know which Fabs I will contact...). It's definitely my next move.The cost of die- I just used an online calculator, but you are right, we have many of the die parameters already calculated.An answer to my question will basically help me with the 3 years forecast I am making.Best,Yair
