If you want to get your connector as shown, then scroll down Chip's link, there is a box "Product Information" with a button "Find similar products".If you click the button and then enter some of the product information into the filters on the left (I used Molex / 2.5mm Pitch spacing / 6 contacts / 1 row / receptacle) you can narrow this down to 11 results, at least 3 of which look like your original connector. My search results are here:https://uk.farnell.com/w/c/connectors/wire-to-board-connectors?brand=molex&pitch-spacing=2.54mm&no-of-contacts=6contacts&no-of-rows=1rows&gender=receptacle
You may have to purchase the contacts separately. If you hover over the picture in the list you'll get an enlarged pic. If you open the page for that connector (click on the pic / part numbers / blue writing) you'll get the page fo that connector. To the right of the pic you will see a PDF link to the Technical Datasheet. This will have measurements that you can compare with your original. At the bottom right of the datasheet is a box with "Use With
KK Crimp Terminal 2759 , 6459 , 41572 ,
4809 , 8088" so you probably would have to purchase some of these contacts separately.Farnell have a live chat button down the bottom of the web page and you can use that, the guys (and gals) who you IM to are usually very knowledgeable and helpful in helping you find what you want. This one was pretty easy. I am searching at present for a specific 2-pin connector for a radio speaker and so far have not found it. I don't even know the maker. So I've taken some pics of the connector and will send them with measurements to Element 14 (Farnell in Australia) and hopefully they will find me something.
And don't apologise for your question. We all started somewhere and this sort of searching is always daunting at first. Hope you find what you're looking for.
