Hi all,
For generators in particular, the alternator, what is the relationship between the power of the generator (rated) and the magnetic flux, the DC exciter voltage, flux linkages,etc??...Or if any one could just recommend any reading material or online sources???....credible ones......

MIT has online class materials that are useful <https://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm>. Or check your University library, if you have one locally -- books by Lipo, Boldea, Say, Liwschitz-Garik, Langsdorf, Puchstein, are good.
