Recommended 2W VHF RF Amplifier Circuit for 100MHz Operation

Hello, I’m trying to build an RF amplifier for VHF anywhere around 100MHz on my own, one that can generate atleast 2W of power or even more but it seems all the Amplifiers I use do not work. Is there any recommended Amplifier for such operations?

Hi.The frequency of 100 Mhz is important and critical.You must follow all the rules of "impedance matching".You must use a good transistor for High Frequency.You must use also a good metallic box.Only using a good oscilloscope for F>300 Mhz you can build this project.I suggest, also, to add a pass-bass filter to cut high frequencies.CheersGiovanni Di Maria

Thanks, I have been trying to use the MW6S004NT1 for some time but no matter how many times I have tried to use it even with the circuit in its datasheet, it still doesn't seem to work.

The signal always seems attenuated.

For now, I want to change and use the MRF134 with should be able to do it.

My oscilloscope unfortunately is just 100MHz but I need to do this, is there a guide online that you can easily refer me to?

but the components have their numbers scrapped.

Can I get a guide on materials to use or how to design one?
