Word Overlapping Issue: Letters Being Replaced When Inserting Text

Hello. When writing documents in Word, I have a problem with missing letters. If in a sentence I would like to add a word inside, this word does not cause the sentence to separate, but as if it overlaps the letters that follow this word. I will try to explain with an example. If I have the sentence "Ala ma cat" and I would like to add the word big between "ma" and "cat", then the word "Ala ma big" will be created and the word "cat" will be replaced with letters from the word "big". Can it be changed somehow?
