Hello. I have a battery that was still factory and I bought a new one. Unfortunately, I'm ashamed to admit but during the exchange from impetus I put the gears wrong (meaning the opposite!) The effect was that the emergency lights came on - they did not blink. Everything went on 2-3 sec. When I correctly set it up and turned the key, the effect is that the central panel does not light up, ie the radios, the airflow, the computer display and everything else on it. Even the backlight is not lit! All the controls around clocks. The worst, however, is that it does not start the starter at all. After turning the key into the starter position, nothing is happening at all.
Is there a fuse that suits it? As far as I know, every device like a radio blower, etc., has its own protection, and nothing works here. I'm afraid to think what could have happened, please help and make suggestions.

Well, you gave it "chad" .
You will not do anything without service and money.

    ps

Yes, electronic devices are often protected against accidental power connection (replacement - with + and vice versa), but I am afraid that the car as a whole will not.

And how are the klemy? They fit?
Very strange or very much strength.

    Greetings.

Check all fuses in the cab and under the engine bonnet. The commissioning goes through the relay, maybe you're lucky and nothing tragic happened. I had something to do with it, only at SEAC and only the rectifier in the alternator burned down.

The alternator has a fuse and there is also a different power supply from it

Klemy was so relaxed that I did not have to use force. How do I check the relays? Visually, you see that they are blown or do you need to have a meter?

Can someone write me how to locate this fuse in the alternator? Is it located somewhere on its housing or you have to undress it?

I know it's really djeaning ... but please tell me how this fuse looks like. I do not think it's one of those little colored fuses. I found a schematic of my inbox. Mazda 6 2L Diesel: Short Circuit After Battery Replacement - Central Panel & Starter Issues
This one is also an alternator fuse but it has 10A.

Look somewhere near the battery, or in the fuse box in the engine compartment - it's a big fuse.

Ok.Thanks for hints. Today is already dark and I do not have light in the garage so I will not check. Tomorrow I will try to find it though I do not know how big fuse should look like. :?: As if I would like to read more suggestions in the topic that is really bothering me. Thank you so much for all the information!

Just be careful when removing it because it can be screwed on, it should be in a small box next to the battery

may look the same as these small fuses only about 3 times larger or it can be in the form of a plaque at the battery itself.

I buried and partially found a solution. The main fuse set in the box under the hood - 100A (you were right). Because I do not have it, I gently pinned the fuse in the fuse and the car fired. Jupi & gt; So far, it's half the success because there is still no voltage on the center console (It is not illuminated, navigation is not open, no radio and the display of the computer does not work. It is the fan and its regulation) All fuses under the hood except 100A are OK. checking the fuses in the cabin I found one burned 15A which is in the middle and is clearly higher than the others. I do not have any fuses so I did not replace it and I do not know if something will change after its replacement. And one more thing. How to get to this fuse 100A under the hood? For nothing in the world I can not pull it out. You say it can be screwed but I can not find any screw. During the pull test the fuse broke.

I looked at allegro as it looks like a fuse, and actually has two such whiskers to the sides with holes. It looks like through these holes pass the two pins to which are screwed power cables from aku. I tried to undress somehow but it does not really go. I think you need to pull out the whole case and then it will be available. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Witam.Sprawa zamkta.Jeśli someone in the future pomorze it in my case it ended with replacing the main fuse in the box under the hood (100A-color in the catalog dark blue-or dark blue only not blue because it does not fit!) And one in the cabin. interestingly, it is described as a fuse from the top lighting, meanwhile, I did not operate a radio, a computer display and navigation! Cost-25 PLN. I gained a few years at the same time. ;) Suspicions of computer damage, immobilizer and similar things did its ;) Thanks a lot for all the help !!!!!!! !!!!

You have a reason to be satisfied, what you would not say was lucky and you saved money. Check the future twice. It's good that you're not a sapper, and the second time it would not be anymore. Good luck!

Topic summary

After replacing the factory battery in a Mazda 6 2L Diesel, the user incorrectly connected the terminals, leading to issues such as the central panel not lighting up and the starter failing to engage. Users suggested checking all fuses, particularly the main 100A fuse located in the engine compartment, which was found to be blown. The user successfully replaced this fuse and identified a burned 15A fuse in the cabin, which also needed replacement. The discussion included advice on locating and handling fuses and relays, as well as the importance of ensuring proper connections during battery replacement to avoid electrical damage.
