Hello! I have a Vedia A10 mp3 player (A10.Vedia.pl). It has a built-in FM transmitter. Is there any optimal FM frequency with the lowest disturbance, noise, etc. ??
Thanks in advance for your help.

Choose a frequency that is as far away as possible from strong radio stations - it depends on the region of the country where you live.

Somewhere I read that there is a frequency with the lowest noise. It was something like 100. That's right ??

I have not heard such an opinion - in fact, what difference is it, whether it will be 90 or 108MHz, it is important that the frequency is as far away from the working station as possible.

Look on the radio for a frequency with no broadcast or a very weak station, then turn on the transmitter and set it to that frequency, and that's it. Greetings!!

In the frequency range 88.5MHz to 108MHz, there is no concept:

You have to know that FM it's not a band or the so-called disturbance, only the mode of transmission (modulation). FM it is nothing but a broadcast FM that is F. -frequency M. -modulation (translation in Polish).

If you want to use the so-called FM transmitter (read: Transmitter with frequency modulation) then follow the entries of its predecessors. They tell you well.

    Greetings.

Topic summary

The discussion centers around finding the optimal FM frequency for the Vedia A10 MP3 player, which features a built-in FM transmitter. Users suggest selecting a frequency that is as far away as possible from strong radio stations to minimize disturbance and noise. One user inquires about a specific frequency, such as 100 MHz, but others clarify that the exact frequency is less important than ensuring it is free from nearby broadcasts. The consensus is to scan the radio for a frequency with no or weak signals and set the transmitter accordingly.
