    Hello everyone !
I just bought a dishwasher, the problem is that I have a small kitchen and the dishwasher would have to stand directly by the stove.
Therefore, I have a question: is such a neighborhood acceptable, will it not affect the failure rate due to high temperature.
If such a location of the equipment is not an option, is it possible to put at least a drain hose outside the stove?

    Hello.
This can be dangerous if the dishwasher is sticking to the oven.
5-10cm spacing between these devices and I see no cause for concern.
The pipes, if they have to be behind the kitchen, are the same principle so that they do not touch, are separated, and preferably lay on the ground (warm air rises, the floor should be cold).

    Regards

    Thanks !
The problem is that it would have to be in direct contact (170cm x 275cm kitchen). I suspect, however, that the devastation and remodeling of furniture will not pass me by.

    Hello.
It is best to check the temperature of the adjacent wall when using the oven and then make a decision.
For me, the dishwasher has been "pressed" between the wall and the gas stove for two years and no problem.
Maybe because the stove is quite new and has good insulation. In any case, when the oven is running for a long time, the side wall of the hob is lukewarm so no problem.

Unfortunately, it heats up quite a lot, the oven is just about 2 hours long. and just when touched it almost burns !!!!! (the stove is 15 years old).
On the other hand, the side of the sink unit that touches it is warm.

    Regards.

The fact depends a lot on the type of oven.
But with a grandmother baked at 180 degrees C for an hour, I doubt a bit about the cold walls of what this device would be like.
I sincerely recommend reading the instruction manual ... of a newer refrigerator, there is usually a description of what kind of a refrigerator can be used when the refrigerator must stand next to the stove with a stove, and specifically I mean some insulating material inserted between these devices (I do not remember what it was), if you do not have such a possibility, please write it, I will look for a manual, I will put it here.

    Thanks a lot!
I would be grateful for the information, unfortunately I have to go off duty, and I don't have internet there.
    I'm not just Henryk.

I found Electrolux instructions and it is written there and for a distance of 3 cm and less, insert a non-flammable insulation board with a thickness of 1 cm. We did not discover America here because they did not write what, I will look at work tomorrow I have more such funny papers there :) and possibly who to ask.

It is enough to insert a non-flammable insulating board, the same as for the internal insulation of fireplaces. There are such boards for pieces in Castorama or plumbing stores. Good luck

    Hello,
in my case, the stove has been adjacent to the dishwasher for almost a year. I have not used any isolation between them. I would like to add that my kitchen is a hot-air amica, fully electric, dishwasher built-in, so ventilation is very small. From what I observed, the dishwasher has its insulation, as well as the stove, and I have all the controls in the door. The dishwasher is on duty almost every day. Coming back to insulation, wouldn't an ordinary mat with thermal reflection such as is used under radiators not be enough in this case? It is not thick and you would not have to move the equipment apart too much. Maybe it would be enough?

A reflective plate, the so-called radiator plate, is made of polystyrene, which melts easily and can even catch fire, so it's better not to risk it. Fireplace plates are made of non-flammable mineral fibers, so they provide much better protection.

The dishwasher heats up too, the highest programs are 70 ° C so I would not bother too much. If the stove does not catch fire, the dishwasher will be fine ;) It is a bit different with coolers, they do not cool them down to heat them up. But if you are afraid, you can insert insulation or make a slot so that they do not touch each other.

That's right, but my friends said that it is best to use a plate that insulates fireplaces, cost about PLN 50 per piece, one is enough and conscience clean :)

    Hello !
Thanks a lot for the hints. I found 4.5 cm and moved the dishwasher away from the stove that distance. It may not look nice, but before I find a thermal insulation board - it must be so (unfortunately such boards are unavailable in Dęblin !!!!). First wash tomorrow.

Well 4.5 cm, and without a plate, it will be fine, unless you warm up the oven in the morning and then bread, cakes and baking cold meats until the evening :D

No exaggeration, recently I have been bucking around the stores and I was curious to watch these are plates from 1.5 cm thick and above, there is no point in pushing too thick, only the price of the thinner ones is about PLN 75 / piece.

I glued a 1 cm thick hard polystyrene plate to the side wall of a gas cooker with an oven. The dishwasher is adjacent to this polystyrene. And everything is ok :) I would like to point out that it is an old "EWA" type gas stove and it heats up quite strongly when the oven works - and it does nothing to polystyrene, and most importantly, it effectively insulates both devices thermally.
A cheap and effective solution - I recommend it :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the safety and practicality of placing a dishwasher adjacent to a gas stove in a small kitchen. Users express concerns about heat transfer and potential damage to the dishwasher due to high temperatures from the stove. Recommendations include maintaining a minimum distance of 5-10 cm between the appliances, using non-flammable insulation boards if closer placement is necessary, and monitoring the temperature of the adjacent wall during oven use. Some users report successful experiences with their appliances in close proximity without insulation, while others emphasize the importance of proper insulation materials to prevent overheating. The conversation also highlights the need for careful consideration of the specific stove model and its insulation capabilities.
