Hello, My friend has a problem with the comp. Well, the comp does not give an image to the monitor - the monitor is black as if it was turned off. When turning on the computer squeaks three times. The disk diode lights up once and sometimes not. What could be the problem? How to get it to work?...

Compare the beeping to the table Beep Codes ; depending on the type of BIOS and code, you will find out what the cause is. Check if the beeping is three times short or if there is any difference between the length of the sound - this is important.

The beeping message depends on the BIOS of the computer. Without delving further: if it is 1 long squeak and 2 short squeaks it is a graphics card error signal, if 3 short squeaks RAM error.

Try pressing down on the RAM bones!

There may be as many reasons as there are users on this forum. We need a complete computer configuration at the beginning so that we don't have to guess what our friend has there. Have your friend try to disconnect all unnecessary devices (such as disk, CD/DVD drive) and leave only the set: Motherboard + processor + RAM + power supply and then try to start the computer.

Hello,
