Hello, could someone give me instructions for operating the air conditioning? Generally, I mean how to set the airflow to be there but not to turn on the air conditioning? which means "H" and two up and down arrows next to it. Please explain the buttons?

One more thing, how to enable the computer to show how much the car is burning at the moment and what is the average

Maybe this manual will suit you (in general, all VW/AUDI are similar).
As for the on-board computer - it begs for a photo (because you probably don't know if you have a full FIS). The switch of the displayed function is on one of the handles under the steering wheel, experiment and you'll get it yourself (simpler than most mobile phones) :D ).

On this page they write that the "half-fis" has no additional functions (and then there is no switch on the handle). It is true that that link is for the A6, but Audi is very consistent, I think it will be the same with you.

If you want to have only airflow without air conditioning, turn on the "ECON" button on the climatronic.
As for the clocks, if you only have half of them, you don't have a display, only an icon and unfortunately there is no way to display instantaneous fuel consumption, distances, etc.

If you do not have such a button, it means that you have a simple, "manual" air conditioning - it is turned on and off with the "A/C" or "AC" button (they write differently). The button has an on light.

    Hello,

you have these options on this panel:

LO - max cold air from the outside or air conditioning,
    HI - max heating

    Arrows:
    - top air vent on the glass
    - the center of the grille on the console
    - down vents for the legs

    Buttons:
    @- i.e. internal circulation
    *- air compressor on/off
AUTO - work in the machine
^ - upper left button air only on the windshield turns on max air and air conditioning in order to dry it in the summer and defrost it in the winter.

    Main ways of working:

-you choose blunt and press auto and you don't care.
-at any time you can work with (provided that it is, from what I remember, more than +3 outside) and without air conditioning - pressing *
-if at a given temperature you want the airflow to be larger or smaller, you regulate it smoothly +/- then the inscription "MAN"-ual will appear next to the fan control indicator,
    - additionally, at any time in manual mode, you choose the places of airflow.

As for the instantaneous fuel consumption, change the indications while driving and you will reach it yourself, the value will change dynamically, unlike the average fuel consumption, it is supposed to be crossed out by O, moreover, you have a reset button there and after resetting and a few km. it will be easier for you to see what is going on.

If something is still not clear, write.

    Regards

That is, if * is not pressed, the air conditioning does not work, there is only a regular blow.

I have a half fisa (with the wiper handle, I can't change the display function or the reset function as it is in full fisa) from what I've read on other forums

Topic summary

The discussion focuses on operating the air conditioning system in a 2000 Audi A3, specifically how to set airflow without activating the air conditioning. Users clarify that to achieve airflow without cooling, the "ECON" button should be used, but if absent, the air conditioning can be controlled via the "A/C" button. The panel features include temperature settings (LO for maximum cold, HI for maximum heat), airflow direction (top, center, and down vents), and internal circulation. For fuel consumption monitoring, users with a "half FIS" system may have limited functionality, as some features are not available without a full FIS display. The discussion emphasizes the importance of understanding the specific controls on the climatronic panel and the limitations of the onboard computer.
