    Hello.
I decided to buy a bottle.
Everything is described on the Internet on the Badoo website, but it is not true. All fees have been hidden. No such information in any regulations.
Badoo service offers you to activate the so-called "super possibilities" for sending one text message.
    SMS price 6 PLN 15gr.
Description of great possibilities on the website.
You will receive 3 return sms with the information that you will receive "special sms" once a week for 6 PLN 15gr each.
Disabling the service, i.e. sending an SMS with the text STOP to the number 60577 costs another 6 PLN 15gr and Badoo does not inform its users about all this.
Here is the content of the disclaimer of any responsibility for the activities of this website, which in itself is not in accordance with our applicable law:

    Really?
The fee for activating and deactivating the service is in line with the operator's fee, as for a regular SMS. In the case of the Plus network, deactivation of the service is free of charge.

You are, as you can see, a naive buddy "jankolo"
    I gave you the link
http://badoo.com/terms/ as official link on Badoo
while you sent me a link
    http://badoo.com/conditions/
whose website is identical in construction but with completely different content.
The average user here falls prey to phishing and deceptively similar websites

Under the link you indicated there are categories http://badoo.com/conditions/
    About Badoo
    Terms of use
    privacy policy
    Safety rules
    Guide
    Help Center
    Blog

And at my link the same http://badoo.com/terms/ which comes with a return sms
    About Badoo
    Terms of use
    privacy policy
    Safety rules
    Guide
    Help Center
    Blog

This price list is camouflaged on the conditions "setting / conditions" page, not the terms "conditions / agreement".
The regulations should be clearly specified on one page only.
The "similarity" in the construction of both websites is very interesting.
And someone will tell me that this is normal and it is because on one or the other side the same tab is finally selected with the same content. Oddly, there is no longer any "hyphen" between "conditions" and "terms".
And the mention of my colleague 6.10 with VAT on the website without the slash / h / month / year legally indicates a one-time fee and it turns out that it is not a one-time fee because in the pyramid system it entails another paid return text messages or necessary deactivations not everywhere unpaid. So 6.10 is the amount "to start", which is out of the question.

Do you work for Badoo that you defend them for unclear reasons?
Because on the electrode I also met real employees of various services who help break the device while opening it and damage the electronics with incorrect components.

You lie and that's it. The terms and conditions of the Badoo website can be found at this link. What you provide are links to other pages of the site on the left.
Terms these are the rules of use, conditions these are the terms of use.

Please identify these users and document the cases described. Otherwise, I will take this text as a slander with the ensuing consequences.

What is a service at all? For some time now I have been receiving spam from them via e-mail, and I don't remember ever having visited this site, let alone providing the e-mail.

    Dating site but "foreign".

First of all, the website violates the Act on the Protection of Personal Data - the condition for using any of the portal's functions is inserting photos.

The second thing is spoofing the "super functions".

It also tracks us by sending information about our location through applications created for this purpose.

The case is suitable for GIODO, of course, for the purpose of initiating the proceedings later.

    It does not.
And GIODO can do it. Personal data is processed outside Poland and the Polish infrastructure is used only for transport and so on.
GIODO does not protect against stupidity, although in our reality it should.

    Hello,

gryfix I have the same ..... I wrote a form on their website to block these superpowers and not to send text messages, and they wrote back:

    Hello,

Your superpowers will be activated in about 15 minutes. Please be patient, as with each top-up you need to wait a bit for the system to verify the payment

    badoo team

Man, I don't know what to do with it, and PLN 24 or PLN 30 per month is a lot. Interestingly, I also wrote to them in English to the headquarters (this was before sending the e-mail in Polish) to block these great possibilities, I did not have it for a certain period, until the next Monday, when the beloved text message came again ....

Is it possible to block all (or a specific) special number (or what are they called)?

    Please help
    Regards

    Added after 30 [minutes]:

    I already have!!

The text message must be STOP BADOO, not just STOP! to number 60577 :) Should help. I received a text message saying: "You have just canceled the access to the SMS BADOO 60557 AV service" from the number 6678, so this deactivation probably did not cost anything :)

    Regards

How amazing is that. About half a year, or maybe a year ago, there was a job for an IT specialist. The job would be in Cyprus, and the offer from the Employment Agency from a certain city. I do not want to write more here, so as not to be exposed.

I don't know so much about it on the internet and people are still fooling around. Is it so hard to accept the rule that you read the regulations 10 times and check the information in publicly available sources before sharing any of your data with anyone?
Good advice regarding SMS confirmations, a prepaid starter card for PLN 5 that can always be changed without regrets.

And how are you, Mr. jankolo? You are insisting on the correctness of this sick website. After all, they even ask you explicitly for your email account password to try out said "Super Possibilities". Fucking paranoia. "Badoo - not for idiots" ;)

Come on, guys. Is not so bad. Who tells you to use some dating sites. Haven't you heard about marriage bureaus?
I take the jankolo moderator's word for it. If he works here as a moderator, he probably knows the rules and methods of creating these rules. Is aware of the regulations.
They sent me letters from Badoo too. They let me understand that other friends of mine were using it. My e-mail deliverer warns me that he has blocked unsafe content. Maybe in these e-mails there is some script that looks for cookies from other social networking sites on your computer. I do not know. But it is probably more likely that regular spam is used by them. The only thing that "protects" them from a bad opinion is the position they have developed. There is such a thing as the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.
Badoo is likely to be exploiting some legal loopholes. And that may be the problem.
There are companies in Poland that are not taxi companies, but transport companies and charge themselves about 20 zlotys per kilometer for transporting people. The courts, prosecutors and the police cannot do anything to them, because everything is legal.
Fortunately to the unbelievers, let it not turn out that I was right about the greater interference in the Internet by lawyers and officials. Some guess what I mean. These are my topics about improving computers and the Internet.

As a rule of thumb, read all terms and conditions before shipping. Some personal details or how SMS is sent to some premium rate number. In such regulations, pay special attention to whether the words: zloty, dollar, etc. appear somewhere. There is such a dependence that when a service asks for the exact address of residence, it will most likely send bills. I conclude this from the fact that no free service has yet asked me to complete my address.

    And with what?

As for the badoo website, I have been on it for a long time, I do not get any text messages, no strange notifications (unless someone wants to meet me or visited my profile), no spam, etc. But this is how you "click" everything after turn, and then panic because it eats up my money. Rules are like the Bible, it is not enough to read, you have to understand. But you can see that this is beyond some of them.

Hello. I can see that the topic is quite old, but probably still relevant. I installed the Badoo app on my phone. I acted very carefully, i.e. I set up a separate email address, and I only paid the money by traditional transfer at the post office. Does anyone know if this application can somehow use email addresses from other accounts on the phone, e.g. the email address of a Google account to create fake accounts on your website or to send spam? Is it physically possible? Regards.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around hidden fees associated with Badoo's "super powers" service, which charges users for SMS notifications and service activation/deactivation. Users report confusion regarding the costs, with SMS fees of 6 PLN 15gr for both activation and deactivation, and issues with the cancellation process. Some users have experienced continued charges despite attempts to unsubscribe, leading to frustration and suggestions to report the service to consumer protection authorities. Concerns about the website's terms and conditions, data privacy violations, and potential phishing risks are also raised, highlighting the need for clearer communication from Badoo regarding fees and user rights.
