    They blocked the page
    https://sms.orange.pl/

    Site goal
    https://sms.priv.pl/
sends SMSes to Plus and Play T-Mobile and such others, but if you enter the number from Orange, I do not want to send
    Other goals such as
    https://www.smsiak.pl/
which is the most in google, in order to send an SMS you have to confirm your number with an SMS and they take more money from your phone than sending an SMS is worth.
    Why they broke the page
    http://www.bramka.pl/
as it used to be easy to send SMSes and now if you want to send an SMS to any number from this gate, a message appears that there is a technical break.
Why did they move this goal how it worked.
This technical break has been going on for several years.
Is it really impossible to fix this technical break sooner?

It says they have disabled the service but maybe there is some other page.
Why did people stop using this service? You have to pay for SMS messages sent from your phone?
When will they restore this service, how long does it take?

Because the world has moved on and now, most of the time, you use dedicated applications, not text messages, for fast communication. When will they restore? Probably never, the same as websites adapted to WAP.

People stopped using (even me), because in most tariffs domestic calls and SMSs are unlimited without charging an additional fee.

You pay only once and you have unlimited text messages.
Plus is already announcing that its gate will be turned off.

For this you need internet and you can write, chat or even have a video conversation (messenger, skype, GG and many others) for free. The only limit may be the data transmission limit, but even video eats little.

I am interested in sending SMSs to mobile phones from the gateway for free. I have been using gadu gadu and such crap applications on my computer for a long time, which will give me the same on the phone as I only have a phone number for someone, what GG or mobile email will give me.

To Orange and soon you will not send an SMS from the gate to others. You have to have an unlimited offer (the cost is a dozen or so to a little over PLN 20 / month) and you're in trouble.

It's very good that they turned off, other operators should do it too. I would not like some pseudo-businessman Janusz or a "thrifty" friend to send me messages through the gateway. Then my phone number will be in the databases of all possible telemarketers and other ... pushers.
There are no free lunches, and as it was said before, "the money has to be right".

20 zlotys a month is a lot when you are unemployed

This does not mean that you have to shuffle your friends' data left and right if they do not explicitly wish to do so.
Besides, I invite you to my area. They will accept anyone who shows any willingness to work. Even people in wheelchairs and without hands have jobs.

Currently, being unemployed is a state of mind, not a necessity. In addition nothing will as stated by the principal of the author of the topic.

In fact, it is strange that any gate at all still works after the introduction of this "counter-terrorism" law.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the unavailability of free SMS gateways to the Orange network, particularly after the shutdown of the official SMS gateway at sms.orange.pl. Users express frustration over the lack of alternatives, as other services like sms.priv.pl and bramka.pl have also ceased functioning or require payment for sending messages. The conversation highlights a shift in communication preferences towards applications rather than traditional SMS, with many users noting that unlimited SMS plans have diminished the need for free gateways. Concerns about privacy and the potential for telemarketing are also raised, alongside discussions about the financial burden of monthly fees for SMS services.
