    Hello,

Some time ago I replaced the water meter in the installation and I would like to know if it was possible in the past to magnetize this type / model of the meter to some extent? This is exactly what it is METRON of JS class 2.5 . It's hard for me to say if it is an exam with increased magnetic resistance. or anti-, because I don't know anything about it. Maybe someone has had contact with this or the like?

    Thanks in advance,
    Regards

This type of water meter has two magnets in it, so it cannot be magnetized.

You probably won't damage it with the magnet. The thing is that you can block it with a magnet and take water. Therefore, additional magnetic field indicators are sometimes installed. Or the newer ones may have them inside. With an electricity meter it is a bit different because after using a magnet you can weaken its internal braking magnets and then such a meter calculates too much kwh.
