I would like to take the G1, G2, G3 energy, thermal and gas exam at the operating level. I have a question about the difficulty of passing such an exam and the knowledge requirements. Are there books to study for the exam?

Basically all the knowledge needed to pass the exam is put on the course.

But do the exam questions relate to professional measuring devices and their technical data, or do you only need basic knowledge of meters?

They don't ask about surveying topics at all. The most important thing is not to hurt yourself and others. Hence, the greatest importance is given to electric shock protection, first aid course and security.
    I was asked about:
    - Network systems (concrete wall question), draw and describe the TN-C type.
    - Intermediate overuse protection
    - Can a 20A fuse be used with such and such engines?
    - 1 Question from standards
    - safe tension

As much as I remember. Practically everyone seemed a bit sad. The guest said that he could do everything, but he forgot and the examiner let him go ... All in all, he needed this paper, if only it would be there ... because he is a car mechanic by profession. It is known - requirements.

Anyway, it would be great. And you don't know if there are any books you can learn about these three groups. I'm trying to open a plumbing company in the field of plumbing and I would like to take such exams, so I prefer to prepare.

Wladyslaw Orlik - Elektryka In questions and answers - a very good book. I also have another one, but I doubt it is in your area :)
Focus the most on lectures and take notes :) The lecturers themselves will probably even say what is important.
And of course - elektroda.pl This one was fought 1,000,000 times and I even downloaded didactic materials from here :)
I think if you don't oil it, you'll pass it for sure.
I am not an electrician myself (a non-working electronics engineer), but I want to return to the old profession and at the beginning I decided to test myself in the Sepovian exam.
    Good luck.

For me, the exam looked like this; all those who did the course were invited to the classroom and after a while they left happy and I and you eat from two colleagues who did not do the course but came for the exam itself, we had to go to another room where we got a few questions about the types of network systems, security, etc. Generally, you need to know the basics .

Gentlemen ... A little seriousness! If someone has already "passed" the SEP exam in the manner described above, at least one could not boast about it publicly on the forum. In this way, you are sinking yourself and the examining board.
The purpose of the exam is for someone to "stick their heads" with their signature for your further achievements.
    So let's be a little serious ...

To the author: what do you need "full" for - G1,2,3 ?? Do you realize that depending on your knowledge, you can hoe to the sun? I do not want to offend you, but at the beginning I would suggest taking courses for individual groups - then you will know exactly what the given examination committee expects. Because so far I have the impression that you do not really know what you need these colorful SEP books for ...

It has just appeared on Elektroda:

I also recommend that you read:
BEZEL - qualifications in the energy sector
BEZEL - professional qualifications of electricians
Forum of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers
You have to find materials for the other groups yourself - I have no knowledge in this area.

I personally had 3 questions from the standards, one of them was drawing the TN-CS diagram and formulas for the operation of protections, a question about lightning and the selection of the conductor cross-section.
The electrode and the book by Henryk Markiewicz were helpful in learning " hazards and protection against electric shocks "
Below is a link to the topic on the forum with the titles of study books for the SEP exam:

Hello. I have E qualifications up to 1kV and I wanted to broaden my knowledge of, among others, devices in an explosive environment.

    1. I have a question about the requirements for Operation. For supervision you need to know the regulations.
As a recipe, should I understand what exactly and where can I use it? In the sense, for example, the Exi enclosure in "a" design can be used in the "N-th" explosion zone in such and such conditions. Do I need such detailed knowledge for the operation (and in practice, do they even ask about the smallest details during the regulatory exam?).
There are regulations in the regulatory requirements and I do not know whether TO (see above) should be treated as a provision or this knowledge of this issue is necessary for E rights? There are a lot of these "conditions and conditions" and whether it makes sense to learn it, because in practice, when designing / modernizing / renovating such a network, one looks at the relevant literature / regulations / directives in order to check the conditions to be met by these devices.

    2. What types of questions can be expected in the examination for operation and supervision on this issue?

    best wishes

    Hello
Yesterday I was able to pass the exam in operation and supervision up to 1 kv, so I want to share my knowledge on this subject. The exam itself was conducted in a pleasant atmosphere, but when it comes to knowledge:
the examiner practically did not ask me any questions about the operation, most of them related to supervision, so - supervision duties; what do you know about: coordinator, admitting; fire regulations and practically everything that is related to fire; protective equipment. What laws regulate this and that (I don't remember anymore). Finally, what to do with a drunk employee :) aha, and from what book did I learn (Honest + internet).

    Regards
