Which side is the minus and which side is the plus. Write which cable color is minus and which is plus
Could an unintentional swapping of + and - damage the motherboard?

In a loudspeaker cable, black is a minus, red is a plus. It does not matter for the power and reset buttons (although according to the accepted principle, a colored wire would mean a plus, and a white one a minus).

Connecting these cables upside down will not damage anything. A speaker connected upside down will also work. Only reverse connection of the HDD LED and POWER LED will cause that these LEDs will not work (but after correct connection, everything should be OK).

It doesn't matter how you hook it up SW reset and Power SW .

About Speaker this downside is black.

and how does this relate to Power LED, because it does not shine for me.

I can insert the plug the other way round. Will I not damage anything? :)

Power led, if it is not lit, try to connect the other way round (white on it is minus, color is plus).

If you connect the other way, the diode will not light - just turn the plug.

I will not damage the disc if I connect it the other way round? They probably connected wrongly on the website

Approx. I close the topic. Thanks

Topic summary

In the discussion regarding the connection of power switches, reset switches, and speakers, it is clarified that in loudspeaker cables, the black wire is typically the minus (-) and the red wire is the plus (+). For power and reset switches, the color coding is less critical, but generally, a colored wire indicates plus and a white wire indicates minus. Connecting these cables incorrectly will not damage the motherboard; however, reversing the connections for the HDD LED and POWER LED will result in non-functioning LEDs until corrected. Users are advised that if the Power LED does not light, they can try reversing the connection without risk of damage to the components.
