Hello, my question may seem silly to you, but I was looking for a specific answer and I haven't found it anywhere. So the point is, I want to buy a graphics card:

    ASUS HD7750 OC 1GB DDR5 HDMI 820/4600 DX11
and it is on the PCI-Express 3.0 connector

    while my motherboard is:

    Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2.

Will this graphic work on a given album? :)

    There will be a problem.
The card is powered by pci-express, so on pci-e 1.0 x16, it will not get enough electricity.

So finally the graphics will work on my motherboard, but to fully use it, you need to change the motherboard from PCI e 3.0 x16?
Do you think it makes sense to buy a graphics card like you have PCI e x16?

First of all, this card is unprofitable. Power consumption is low, but I haven't seen the connection you are going to make yet.
There are better graphics cards for the 7750 price.

    Nonsense, unfortunately.

HD7xxx cards will not work on PCI-Ex 1.0 / 1.1 x16. Checked and confirmed, I bought it myself and melted it down. On the ASUS M2V-MX board, the ASUS HD7770 card does not boot even when connected to the OCZ ModXStream 600W power adapter. No signal over DVI and VGA through the VGA-DVI adapter. On another motherboard, also ASUS, the M4A785TD-V EVO model and the OCZ Fatality II 550W power supply started right away.

I read on English-language forums that cards in the 3.0 standard can only run on slots from 2.1 and up. Unfortunately, this is not possible on older PCI-Ex 1.0 / 1.1. Slots 1.0 and 1.1 are compatible with cards up to bus 2.0.

    EDIT:

Sorry for digging up the post. But the information is extremely useful, maybe someone will not blend in like me.

And I bought it blind and it works for me
The MSI 760GTX card with PCI 3.0 in the Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 with PCI x16 board works like a dream, of course, additional power supply is connected to the card.

Name of the motherboard Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6
    Number of expansion slots 2 PCI, 3 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16

I understand that if I have a pci 2.0 x16 board, it will fit a card with 3.0 x16 input?

Because your 760 requires a plug to be plugged in, and it does not rely on the current supplied only through the socket, as in the case of the 7750 ...
pci-e 2.0 will power the 7750 without any problems, with 1.0 and 1.1 probably happened and there are still problems ...

I have just such a problem, pci 3.0 graphics card and only 1.0 on the board and the black screen has started for you, my friend, because this gigabyte has 2.0 pci, so my gigabyte n650sli-ds4L has 1.0 and dark ...

Yes, the card will work. I just checked. I have an Asus P5KPL board and I put a Radeon HD7770 on PCI-E 3.0 in it and it went.

Topic summary

The discussion centers on the compatibility of the ASUS HD7750 OC 1GB DDR5 graphics card with the Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2 motherboard. Users confirm that while the HD7750 can physically fit into the PCI-Express slot of the motherboard, there are concerns regarding power delivery and performance. The motherboard likely supports PCI-Express 2.0, which is compatible with the HD7750, but issues may arise with older PCI-Express 1.0 slots. Some users report successful operation of similar cards on different motherboards, while others caution that the HD7750 may not perform optimally without a motherboard that supports PCI-Express 2.1 or higher. Overall, the consensus is that the card will work, but upgrading the motherboard could enhance performance.
