    Hello
I do not know which key to enter the bios on an HP desktop computer. I do not know what the bios is because the hp logo fires and nothing else can be seen. The board is based on the SIS chipset. the computer is about a year old and is from the states.
    please give me some suggestions.

Use search on the electrode because it has been about this many times.
    or:
Go to www.hp.com and read and you will find out everything.

if you do not want to tell me which key is used to enter the bios, do not share. Probably half of your points are from bad posts like: use search. Or maybe you show me a post where it says what I was looking for - it was so much.

I've already found it - it's the F1 key. Found not on the electrode.

I understand that thinking on your own is a big effort for you, and it shouldn't be. You have to look for yourself first, which is very easy, and then if you don't find an answer, ask on the forum. It's a pity that most users write first, and then think.

    Enter in search:
how to enter the bios or the word "bios" and you will see how many posts you will find.

    to Kolobos:
I typed exactly what you suggested in the search engine beforehand, but among those about 2,000 posts, I would not find the answer too soon (if it is there). This link you gave me does not solve my problem. F2 is entered into the bios in HP laptops and in the HP Pawolion 5600 you enter with the F1 key. So again, with the post that did nothing for the topic, you scored a few points - I will fight with you a little more and I will also be a "specialist".

First, you wrote that you found and that you are entering the F1 bios

Well, I gave you the first post in which this is mentioned, of course it concerns a different computer than yours, but every thinking person
after reading to try F1, DEL, INS, F10.
In addition, you did not give abslotunie nothing about your computer, what model it is, etc. So do not expect that someone will help you. Anyway, I can see that there is no point in encouraging you to look for yourself, since you came here for a consideration given on a tray, and for all attempts to encourage you to look for yourself, you bark back with some nonsense about spots, etc.

At least on HP laptops you enter the BIOS with the F2 keyboard. This should also be the case in stationary.

For example, the HP AIO Eliteone 800 G4 is quite strange. The F10 key does not seem to want BootMenu to fire. It is quickly entered via the F1 Startup Menu

Topic summary

To enter the BIOS on an HP desktop computer, users typically need to press the F1 key during startup. Some responses suggest that the F2 key is used for HP laptops, while others mention that different models may require different keys such as DEL or F10. The discussion highlights the importance of identifying the specific model, as BIOS access can vary. Users are encouraged to search for their specific model's BIOS entry method if the standard keys do not work.
