    Hello :)
I would like to ask for opinions and possible hints. The case concerns the built-in refrigerator - a few days ago, "experts" assembled my kitchen furniture along with the built-in household appliances. It is a high building, with cupboards to the ceiling. When building the refrigerator, "Gentlemen" installed a ventilation grate at the bottom in the plinth, but they did not give any other grate from the top. The cabinet with the refrigerator is pushed against the wall at the back (about 0.5 cm from the wall), the right side is also against the wall (also 0.5 cm), and the left side borders the other, low cabinets. There is also some 0.5 cm of play at the ceiling. And my question is about the ventilation - I guess it is insufficient for the proper operation of the refrigerator. How to solve the issue of built-in ventilation to the ceiling - where should there be ventilation openings - can I place them on the side of the cabinet (from the left) if it is impossible from the top ?? And what are the consequences of insufficient ventilation - should I hurry with this conversion, or will the fridge last for a few weeks, for example?
Thank you very much in advance for your answer :)

Vents can be on the side (must), the size is definitely given in the refrigerator assembly instructions, it is very important for the correct operation of the refrigerator, in "a few weeks" it may be too late for modifications (the refrigerator will "boil"), and the warranty does not provide for repair due to improper installation and lack of ventilation.

Or in the cupboard above the refrigerator, if there is one.

Well, in the cupboard it is by the way, but somehow the air still needs to be evacuated from the cupboard, because I will not have the door open all the time. Hence the idea of side openings :)
Thank you very much for the answers.

The heat is coming out of the top, you need a carpenter

Thank you for the answers ... I ended up making a second ventilation grille in the cupboard above the refrigerator (the same as in the pedestal) ... everything according to the instructions, and it doesn't even look that bad :)
