Can GIRA radio receivers be added without altering the existing installation?

Can I add Gira wireless lighting control to an existing apartment installation without major changes to the walls and ceilings?

Yes, the thread points to Gira’s Funk-Bussystem as the retrofit option for wireless lighting control [#11596785] For a one-room setup it was said to be feasible, but for several rooms it was said not to work well, so the exact layout matters [#11598447] You should have an experienced installer or company draw up the design, because the number of light sources, wattage, and switching points all need to be matched to the system [#11599005] For the described lighting load, one suggested parts list was 1113100, 1111100, 041300 x3, 080900, and 0211505 x2, at roughly 4,000 total [#11598976] The system was also described as expensive, and the price list was called “astronomical” [#11597536]

    Hello

I already have the entire electrical installation in my flat.
Today I came across the GIRY radio system, which allows for multiple buttons on a single column.
Is it possible to add radio receivers without causing too much disruption to the ceilings, walls, etc.?
    I don’t have a server; this isn’t a smart home.
    Link to the transmitter: http://www.gira.com/en/produkte/funk-wandsender-flach.html

    Best regards
    Nicholas

Does anyone know the approximate cost of such a system?

Here’s the Gira price list, Link , but the prices are astronomical. I’ve installed quite a bit of their fittings, and sometimes you have to wait a long time for your order to be processed. Interestingly, a lot of the components are compatible with the higher-end Berker models, and the price is half as much.

Yes, but, for example, the glass frames are identical, and the Berkera ones are half the price; and when it comes to frames, it doesn’t matter at all whether they’re Chinese, Czech or French.

That’s true. Could someone please post the exact products I need? I’d be very grateful, as I don’t know anything about this yet :)

What would you like to use it to control?

Which series are you interested in? And, above all, how many points would you like to manage? From how many locations? If I were you, I’d put together a quick simulation of your requirements and send it to tema.pl so they can draw up a quote for you.

If it’s just one room, I can have a go, but if there are more, it’s not going to work.

Well then, tell us what it’s supposed to light up, because surely it’s not just a single light bulb above the table in the living room? :D

3 double spotlights, ceiling LEDs and 6 single spotlights (in a staircase arrangement)

Fudging the figures? I sort of get it – from two sources?

There’ll be three double spotlights on a dimmer switch, but otherwise not.
Yes, the staircase has two light fittings because those five little lights are sort of like the hall.

There’s also the option of using a remote control.

I’d rather not add to the cost; I’m doing this so that everything can be conveniently controlled with a single switch.
It would be a nice feature to have on an iPhone, but that’s getting into the realm of smart homes and the like.

    You’ll need the following items: 1113100, 1111100, 041300 x 3, 080900, 0211505 x 2. When you place your order, ask if that’s everything. It’ll come to about 4,000.

Thank you very much for your help; thanks to this, I can now see how to choose the rest of the décor for the whole flat.
I’m sending them an email: :)

But I’d still recommend getting someone experienced to help with the selection – it’s not as straightforward as it seems. You need a design, the wattage, the number of light sources and so on.

I’d like to ask someone from the company to work it out and check whether this is feasible at this stage.
