I warmly welcome. I have a problem with Scania 144 530 in the opticruise version. For some time, strange things have happened to her. Some two weeks ago, the driver had problems with driving, the car accelerated to 80kmh and after some time it started to stop and it did not react to the gas pedal. The engine did not go out. The car's power dropped. Then the computer edc showed error 42. We propped it under the computer, the active error was the needle protrusion sensor and the memorized gas pedal sensor. Currently, the computer is showing error 62, the car is not interrupting anymore, but the combustion is gruesome. The error can be deleted manually, but after some time it jumps again. I am asking for help with the problem. I do not know where to start looking, I have a feeling that it may be a bundle.

thank you for the answer Tell me a friend or a damaged fuel pump can cause 50l / 100km of combustion? The pump last acted as a driver I vented. Is there any way to check it out, it's a good west of it especially in V. I am asking for a bit more of your knowledge :)

I will add that when the car is extinguished and the key is removed, the engine still works. We checked the extinguishing valve and did not prune.

we have also changed the overflow valve (on the supply line entering the EHAB valve) if I think correctly.

This generates the 62-speed code. The motor speed must be reduced by at least 150 rpm within 4 seconds. The setting coil has no power (the motor is off). At the next engine start, the torque is limited. Normal torque is restored when the engine speed drops at the right pace after the engine has been switched off ..... there may be many reasons, for example, an air-fuel system, a faulty valve, installation.

check that there is no voltage to the fuel valve.

and whether for sure the extinguishing valve is working !!!

hello. I am after receiving the car from the site. I replaced the mechanic fuel pump (manual) as a cause of trouble. I ran the 70km tractor alone and the EDC error did not jump in. I will write what the problem looks like after returning the car from the route

And now the engine goes out after switching off the ignition?

Not at all. It is the same symptom as before. The car is still working after extinguishing.

happens even as the EDC lights up, the car fades and more burns, when the indicator does not light, the car behaves very vigorously and burning falls. It burns irregularly and can not ignite for 300 km, I am asking for ideas to solve this problem. Can it be an electrician (sawn wires?

You have a picture for the fuel valve

Also change the fuel filters ... clogged causing electronics damage.
I had a similar action in the actros ... the aluminum casing of the engine control module (computer) corroded from the inside and miracles worked, after cleaning (white sludge) and rubbing with alcohol, everything like a hand took away

It also happens that when the EDC lights up, the car gets weaker and burns more, when the light is not on, the car behaves very good and fuel consumption drops. It lights up irregularly and can not ignite for 300 km, I am asking for ideas to solve this problem. Could it be an electrician (frayed wires?

Hi gentlemen, if someone is still active here, I would like to refresh the topic, because I still have Scania 4 (with the same v8 engine) and exactly the same problem. While driving, the EDC lights up, cuts off 50% of the power, then turns off and drags normally. It is so, that it can not ignite for a long time at all, and if he shoots it, the EDC will light up every now and then.

If the author of the post managed to solve the problem, I am asking for some hints on what to look for

    regards ;)

Good evening! I'll come back if someone is still active here and has solved the problem with error 62 at edc! I have the same problem and I can't find the solution! Thank you!

Good evening! Did you manage to find the problem with the lit edc 62? I have the same problem and I haven't been able to solve it for a week!
