    Hello!
I have a question namely I have an Audi Q 7 4.2 TDI car and the thing is that the DPF particulate filter was dirty and I gave it to clean. Now my question is this: I still have a bug and I have Texe and it goes to clear this error short because the error returns. For some models there is an option in Texie to initialize after replacing this filter, unfortunately there is no possibility for my model. I bought an additional VAS 5054a, because it supposedly goes to initialize this filter after replacement. My question is whether this is true and whether you need to do something like that. Thanks for the info, best regards.

Clean filter ? Effective sensor (differential pressure).

I just thought it might be a sensor but I do not know how much I can check it out !! !! And you have to initiate it somehow in the system or how everything would be okay we put in the cleaned, ECU checks the parameters, it sees that it is empty, and everything is okay ??
Just why is Texie for audi 3.0 TDI the adjustment module after replacing the filter ??

Was there a need to clean this filter? On what basis did you say that. The differential has not been checked, the temperature sensors have not been checked and you are cleaning the filter for cleaning.

The car has 200,000 km I was with a mechanic and said that the 100% filter is full :( maybe I made a big mistake !!! and none of these things have been checked. :( but I tried to burn it out, chased him as instructed and there was no effect. Now it has gone into service mode, i.e. the candlelight and the particle filter light are on. Limiting the turnover to 3k.

It is impossible to fill the filter 100 percent.

And before cleaning it also lights up and the service mode is on.

Thanks to buddy, this function in VAS as filter adaptation after replacement, only when I take it, another problem can not connect to the engine controller. I am connecting to the obd connector on the steering wheel, I do not know if there is another motor controller and I need to connect somewhere else. Because when I take the location of the components, it shows me on the right-hand side of the window but there is a whole komp ?? !!

There is only one obd2 connector and one motor controller.

Well, I know you're a gostka guy who loves to criticize and it's just you know everything and no one else can know more than you. And even if I did not have a workshop, what ?? And for your information I am a blacksmith and I managed to do it, a simple gu ... nem from allegro for 500 zlotys. Anyway, I will not tease you. In addition, for those interested, the exhaust temperature sensor is damaged, there are only a few of them and I do not know exactly which is the error code P0547.

I'm criticizing people like you, who spend money on interfaces without knowing, instead of paying those 500 zlotys for pirate equipment, you would pay 500 in a decent workshop, but no ... you will do it yourself, "begging" in the forum
    I apologize if I offend ....

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues related to the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) of a 2007 Audi Q7 4.2 TDI. The user reports that after cleaning the DPF, error codes persist, and they are unable to clear these errors using the Texa diagnostic tool. They inquire about the necessity of initializing the DPF after cleaning and whether the VAS 5054a tool can facilitate this process. Responses suggest using VCDS for DPF firing and emphasize the importance of checking the differential pressure sensor and exhaust temperature sensor. It is noted that the VAS 5054a can reset the dirt mass and adapt the filter post-cleaning. The user also faces connectivity issues with the engine controller and seeks clarification on the correct connection points.
