Which wireless module for Smart Home – HOPE RFM12B 868MHz or better?

I am thinking of making a wireless comminication to control my house.
I would like to ask you what module would be good.
Some of the modules will be powered by batteries, some will not, the amount of transmitted data is rather small - a few bytes.
I was thinking of such:
HOPE MICROELECTRONICS RFM12B 868D - Module: FM transceiver; FSK; 868MHz; SPI; 4dBm; -105dBm; THT
I found this on TME.
