    Hello
From what I remember, it was a shaft position sensor error
    Which year is which engine?
If it is a common rail, try to smoke with the plug from the fuel pressure sensor in the pump disconnected

But 0017 probably signifies this error and I have 0117 unless it's the same. When the EDC is lit, the car has no power.

    I'm sorry my mistake ,
but you wrote that after firing the car goes out, you did not write anything about the fact that when the edc lights up, it's just a lack of power
    0117 - temperature sensor

I replaced the temperature sensor and it's still the same. I'll check the wiring.

I also solved my problem, after replacing the camshaft position sensor with Bosch, the car still went out after the ignition and caused the camshaft position sensor error, the mechanic did not know what to do, he checked everything and still no answer. So I went to the store and bought the cheapest Chinese for a test for a replacement and success the car stopped catching the error of this roller, after a long fight, finally, calm for now.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an issue with an Iveco Daily 35C15, where the EDC indicator lights up intermittently, and an engine fault code 0117 is displayed. Users suggest potential causes, including a shaft position sensor error and issues with the crankshaft or camshaft position sensors. The original poster mentions that the vehicle has no power when the EDC light is on and that they replaced the temperature sensor without resolving the issue. Other participants recommend checking wiring and brake lights. A successful resolution was shared, where replacing a faulty camshaft position sensor with a cheaper alternative resolved the problem.
